This double-sided tape from DuPont Tyvek is a butyl-based sealant that can be used to form an air and moisture-tight seal between many frequently used building materials and a Tyvek membrane.

Compatible with most plastic, metalwork, timber, masonry, blockwork and brickwork products, this Tyvek butyl tape is especially effective when under compression, for example, under timber batten and is recommended for use around electrical sockets, for sealing nail penetrations and at abutments, chimneys and perimeters.
