Description
Eco-Versal is a 5 in 1 insulation board with a thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK. It is suitable for a number of different applications, including cold flat and pitched roofs, floors and timber frame construction. Eco-Versal can also be used to upgrade insulation on most internal and external walls.
- A 5 in 1 solution that’s suitable for insulating floors, walls, roofs, dormer cheeks and ceilings
- Rigid insulation board with a thin profile that’s easy to cut and install
- Lightweight insulation – easy to transport
- High performance rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation core
- Aluminium composite foil facing to both sides
Application- Universal solution for insulating walls, floors, pitched roofs, dormer cheeks and ceilings. It is ideal for insulating timber frame walls and can also be used to insulate solid walls internally. Eco-Versal boards are a thermally efficient solution for pitched roof and loft insulation.
Thermal Conductivity- The thermal conductivity (or lambda value) illustrates how well a material conducts heat. The lower the thermal conductivity, the better the insulator.
Eco-Versal has a thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK across all thicknesses.
Insulation Material- Eco-Versal is a high performance rigid thermoset polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation.
Facings- Eco-Versal has an aluminium composite foil on both its inner and outer facing. This is bonded to the insulation core during manufacture.
Dimensions- 2400mm x 1200mm
Thicknesses- Eco-Versal is available in the following thicknesses: 25-150 mm
Reaction to Fire- Reaction to fire is measured with a Euroclass rating. Under System 4 AVCP, Eco-Versal has a Euroclass rating of F.
Strength- Compressive strength is a material’s ability to maintain its structural integrity when compressed. The larger the compressive strength the more adept the material is at maintaining its structural integrity. The compressive strength of Eco-Versal is 140 kPa when tested at 10% compression to BS EN 826: 2013.
