Description
A full pallet of Ceresit ZU — 48 x 25kg bags. At roughly 9kg/m² for bonding and basecoat combined, that covers around [XX]m², enough for most full-house EWI jobs in a single delivery. Buying by the pallet drops the price per bag and saves repeat delivery charges on a job that would otherwise need several drops.
Only need a few bags? Single 25kg bags are in stock too.
Delivery
Pallets are delivered by lorry with a mechanical offload. You will need firm level access and somewhere to take the pallet — let us know if the site is tight and we will work out the best way to get it to you.
Fixing EPS-boards: CERESIT ZU shows good adhesion to carrying, compact and dry substrates. The adhesion to the existing plasters and paint coatings should be checked before starting the application. Reinforced layer application: when CERESIT ZU is set (after approx. 24 hours), the boards should be ground with abrasive paper and additionally fixed with mechanical anchors.
CERESIT ZU should be poured into cool clean water and stirred until the homogenous mass is obtained. Fixing EPS-boards: the mortar should be applied along the board edges and the board should be pressed to the wall. Reinforced layer application: the mortar should be spread along the surface of the EPS boards. The glass fibre mesh should be applied on the fresh mortar, and than smoothed the surface so that it is not be visible.
When applying the reinforced layer, do not work walls in direct sunlight and protect the completed layer from rain. The works should be carried out in dry conditions, at the temperature air and substrate temperature ranging from +5°C to +25°C. Skin and eyes should be protected. If the material comes into contact with your eyes, rinse them thoroughly with water and seek medical attention.
