What is SuperQuilt?

YBS SuperQuilt is a high-performance multifoil insulation designed for roofs, walls, and floors. Comprising 19 layers of reflective true aluminium foil, high-density foam, and wadding, it delivers excellent thermal performance in a slim, flexible roll. When installed correctly, it also acts as a vapour control layer — helping protect your home from moisture and condensation.

Key Features

• Outstanding Thermal Performance
  R-values of up to ~3.00 m²K/W in walls, depending on installation. In roof and floor applications it performs very strongly, equivalent to much thicker traditional insulation materials.

• Slim & Flexible
  Only ~40mm thick in relaxed state and can compress significantly, making it ideal for projects with limited space. Easier to handle and fit than bulky rigid boards.

• Built-in Vapour Control
  When taped and sealed along overlaps and perimeter, SuperQuilt serves as a vapour control layer reducing risk of condensation.

Installation Notes

• Overlaps between rolls should be properly sealed (typically ~50mm overlap) using foil-joining tape.

• Air gaps are beneficial — allowing the reflective surfaces to perform as intended. The product performs less well if fully compressed without cavity.

• Always follow manufacturer data sheets and any relevant building control guidance.
