Applications

• Full-fill cavity wall systems: Suitable for buildings up to 25 m high in any exposure zone.

• Partial-fill cavity wall systems: Suitable with a residual clear cavity (minimum 25 mm; 50 mm preferred in coastal or exposed zones) to ensure wind-driven rain protection.

Installation Guidance

• For full-fill applications, build the outer leaf with the first row of wall ties at 600 mm centres, then install the URSA batts as the wall progresses.

• For partial-fill systems, fix batts to the cavity face of the inner leaf using wall ties or retaining clips, maintaining a clear cavity and staggering joints.

• Keep cavities free from debris and mortar droppings, especially around slab edges and cut sections.
